UMass Lowell Arboretum & Sustainability Programming
UML is pleased to announce that it has become a certified arboretum, and its mission is to develop and maintain a living plant collection that will provide a safe, attractive, educational and sustainable urban forest that faculty, staff, students and visitors can use as a resource for teaching, learning, and enjoyment. The certification was bestowed by ArbNet, a nonprofit dedicated to helping create and conserve arboreta around the world.
